Volunteering in the law Handbook

The Volunteering in the Law Handbook is for students who want to use their law degree to volunteer, but don’t know where to start. Volunteering at a Community Legal Centre is a great way to develop legal experience while giving back to the community, but finding opportunities to volunteer can be a challenge.

This Handbook provides information on a variety of CLC’s and community groups across Victoria, including its volunteer intakes, key services and contact details.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which the DLSS is founded, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We recognise their continued connection to the land and waters. We pay our respects to Wurundjeri Elders past, present, and emerging and extend this respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Elders and people from other communities.
