The Engagement Portfolio’s guiding principle is to create and cement connections within the Deakin Law cohort, through the in-person promotion of Deakin Law Students’ Society, Deakin Law School, and external events.

 

Following the interruptions to learning across 2020 and 2021, returning to Deakin’s Burwood campus, attending classes and seminars, and attending networking and skill-developing events has never been more important for law students. Further, the Engagement Portfolio seeks to provide a positive presence on-campus, interacting with current Deakin Law School staff and students to ensure that the law cohort are receiving the most from their legal education.

 

The Engagement Portfolio will also be hosting The Deakin Law School Alumni Evening. This evening will provide an opportunity for previous Deakin Law School Alumni to meet and network with current law students, in order to discuss career opportunities, study advice, and developments within the law.
