In celebration of the newly formed Social Justice & Equity portfolio, the DLSS is hosting its first ever ‘Social Justice and the Law’ night.
It is our honour to host Justice Bell of the Supreme Court of Victoria who will deliver the keynote speech. Belinda Lo, the CEO of the Federation of Community Legal Centres (Victoria) will also be speaking on behalf of the CLC sector.
On this night, the inaugural DLSS Volunteer Handbook will be launched. All attendees will receive a hard copy of this comprehensive handbook which will show you how to apply and where in Victoria you can volunteer as a paralegal.
This event will be catered and corporate attire will be required.

All proceeds of the night are being donated to the Federation of Community Legal Centres (Victoria) who work unrelentingly to dismantle unjust systems that perpetuate racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, economic injustice and other inequalities. They work to build a stronger and more effective community legal sector, provide services and support to Community Legal Centres, and represent Community Legal Centres to stakeholders and the wider community.
