The Deakin Law School is now recruiting for the Vis Moot Team for the 2017-2018 competition. Applications are now open and will close on 20 August 2017.
Shortlisted students will be invited to an interview at Burwood Campus or Deakin Downtown during late August/early September. Students selected for the team will be enrolled in MLL355 – International Litigation and Dispute Settlement (T1 2018), although most of the work will be done during T3, 2017.
The Vis Moot is a fantastic opportunity to engage in an in-depth and intensive study of the law, different to anything else you might undertake in your Deakin law degree. During this six-month journey, you will have your legal research, writing and presentation skills sharpened, and will have the opportunity to be trained by top firm lawyers and experienced moot alumni.
Application information, as well as general information about the Vis Moot, is available here.
Applications should be sent to the Unit Chair, Shu Zhang, at firstname.lastname@example.org – and should include a covering letter, a CV, and a copy of your academic results (a copy downloaded from StudentConnect is sufficient).
