VWL is thrilled to announce that registration for its mooting competition for 2017 is now open. The competition, known as The Warren Moot, began in 2015 and is endorsed by Chief Justice Marilyn Warren of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The Warren Moot is an initiative designed to address the small number of women lawyers in advocacy roles, encourage women lawyers to participate in public speaking and provide them with insight into a career at the Bar. A number of members of the legal profession, including members of the judiciary, have previously offered to donate their time to adjudicate the mooting rounds.
