The Deakin Law Students’ Society is excited to give students the opportunity to compete on the National stage at the Australian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) Conference!

The ALSA is a national not-for-profit association comprising all Law Student Societies and Law Student Associations, representing approximately 28,000 law students.

ALSA’s annual conference will be held from the 3rd – 8th July. The 5 night Conference in Canberra will host national finals with competitors coming from Law Schools from around Australia. From mooting in the High Court to hearing keynotes from internationally respected minds and socializing in Australian Parliament House, Conference in Canberra will be one to remember!

The national finals of the following competitions are facilitated by ALSA:

  • Mooting
  • International Humanitarian Law Moot
  • Witness Examination
  • Negotiation

Please note:

  • Competitors will be sponsored for the cost of Conference registration and accommodation, however students will need to fund their own transport to Canberra.
  • Only a total of four teams of two will be chosen
