Sarah Werner from King & Wood Mallesons, Hon Don Ryan QC, Harlis Kirimof (Barrister and Deakin Academic) judged the competition, giving the Burwood students the title and Adam De Bono best speaker. The boys also took out the semi-final against fellow Burwood students at King & Wood Mallesons in late march.
The Junior Moot
The Junior Moot final was won by Geelong’s Joyce Pan and Elise Almond. They battled against Max Hall and Declan Cutler from Burwood. A tough competition, judged by Jack, Kate and Stephen from Lander and Rodgers. Max Hall took home the title of best speaker, with the winning title given to Geelong. The Burwood team won the semi-final held at the Deakin Burwood Campus in mid-April, judged by Sam Cusumano.
The DLSS would like to thank all of the judges, spectators and participants, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event.
